As an IT Solution Architect for Global Planning Systems SIOP at Smith+Nephew, you will play a crucial role in designing and collaborating on a roadmap of solutions that streamline the delivery of products globally. Your responsibilities will include partnering with product owners and leaders to deploy quality solutions, consolidating global planning systems, and reducing the application footprint. You will be translating technical solutions into business activities and vice versa, ensuring the alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Your focus will be on owning the design of technical solutions, overseeing solution build quality, and ensuring architectural compliance using on-premises and cloud technologies. Your key responsibilities will include owning architecture for sophisticated planning systems to be deployed for Global Planning Systems operations-related projects, ensuring solution consistency, facilitating change leadership interventions, and contributing to continuous improvement within the IT department. You will also focus on keeping up with industry trends and advising the business on new capabilities that can support company growth and strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing Level 3 support for Global Planning Systems Management Enterprise software and updating documentation & practices for improved support models. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor or master's degree in a business or information technology field, along with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in global planning systems management or advanced planning systems architecture. Experience with ERP systems like SAP or MS Dynamics 365 is required, as well as prior experience with Kinaxis (Rapid Response) application support, configuration, & development. Certifications such as KINAXIS, APICS, SAFe, Agile CSM, or Supply Chain Certification would be an advantage. You should also have experience with AGILE project methodology, cloud-based methodologies, and sophisticated integrations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across teams without strategic direction, drive consistency across multiple platforms in a supply chain network, and contribute to the prioritization of requirements definition and prioritization activities. Your ability to tie technical solutions to business needs, collaborate effectively, and drive continuous improvement will be crucial for success in this role. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and scale operations at our India office located in Ahmedabad . This is a senior leadership position, responsible for driving operational excellence, overseeing cross-functional integration with our US teams, and leading strategic initiatives that support business growth and innovation. Youll play a critical role in shaping the operational strategy, managing budgets and resources, optimizing performance, and ensuring alignment with ELLKAYs overall mission and objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals. Set long-term objectives and OKRs; track progress and drive accountability. Create a roadmap for scaling India operations and integrating seamlessly with US teams. Evaluate and enhance organizational structure, functions, and roles. Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and process enhancements. Operations Management Oversee daily operations across all functions, ensuring quality, productivity, and efficiency. Manage operational budgets and optimize resource allocation for cost-effective delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Agile/Best Practice methodologies. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and local regulatory requirements. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across departments. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in team development and hiring. Establish a customer-centric mindset throughout operations to enhance service delivery. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with leadership in Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, and Product. Support new initiatives, product rollouts, and market expansion efforts. Collaborate with HR on workforce planning and organizational development. Data-Driven Decision Making Leverage performance metrics and analytics to inform strategy and operations. Implement tools for real-time tracking of key operational indicators. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure all operations are compliant with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards. Identify operational risks and implement timely mitigation strategies. Change Management & Process Optimization Lead operational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment. Champion process optimization to drive efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance service quality. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Technology, or related field. 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior operations role. Proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams and leading strategic initiatives. Strong understanding of the Indian business environment and workforce dynamics. Prior experience in healthcare IT, SaaS, or data interoperability is a strong plus. Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership, budgeting, and financial planning. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
