Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience as a JAVA full stack developer (Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, and UI)
• 5+ years of Java J2EE development experience.
• Distributed technologies: Kafka, MongoDb
• Excellent working experience and deeper knowledge in Spring Framework and APIs.
• 4-6 yrs of JAX-WS, Axis, SOAP, REST web services development experience
• 4-6 yrs Years of experience in Front End, UI, SPA application development using Angular, ReactJS
• 4+ Years of Microservices Development Experience
• 5+ years of Oracle DB and SQL experience
• 3+ Years of NoSQL Experience
• Experience with Co Pilot
• Hands-on experience in full stack Software Enterprise Application component design and development. Experience in designing/developing Banking applications is desirable.
• Expertise in designing and developing enterprise applications using Technology stack like Java8 and above, web services, SOAP/REST, Spring Boot, Design patterns, ReactJS/Angular JS, Java Scripts/CSS/HTML5/JQuery, Microservices Architecture Patterns, Hibernate, Databases(RDBMS/NOSQL), Event Driven Architecture Kafka and Devops tools.
• Experience in transforming Monolith/legacy applications to Microservice Architecture.
• Experience with latest unit testing tools including Octane
• Experience with best-in-class version control tools like GitHub
• Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
• Resilience to obstacles, and ability to solve problems independently.

• Well versed in DevOps concepts
• Experience with working with globally distributed teams in working in Agile scrums
