Lead I - QA Automation Testing

As a Senior QA Analyst at UST, you will be an integral part of a high-performing QA team dedicated to supporting a leading financial services client in the U.S. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing product requirements, creating detailed test plans, designing, developing, and maintaining test cases and automated test frameworks for both UI and API layers. You will be expected to perform various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, UAT, and Go-Live testing. Collaboration with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality outcomes is crucial. Additionally, you will review and provide feedback on test artifacts created by peers and junior team members, mentor and supervise junior QA analysts, and coordinate testing activities. Your expertise in Automation Testing using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or JUnit, proficiency in languages/scripting such as Java, Groovy, JavaScript, and experience with Web Services Testing including RESTful services, JSON, and XML data formats will be essential for success in this role. Familiarity with CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, Git, Defect Tracking with JIRA, Database Testing with SQL scripting, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum/XP and SDLC processes are also required. Furthermore, good-to-have skills include experience with BDD/TDD practices and tools, performance testing tools like LoadRunner, knowledge of FlexUnit, Mercury QTP/UFT, Unix/Linux environments, usability and exploratory testing approaches, and experience in the Financial Services domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration are a must. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
