Lead I - Java, SQL, Appium - Automation

We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer (Automation) to join our dynamic team in Pune and contribute to ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our cutting-edge product. As a Test Engineer (Automation), your responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation test scripts and frameworks. You will be tasked with implementing and optimizing testing strategies to enhance automation efficiency, continuously improving automation tools, frameworks, and testing processes, managing tasks effectively to deliver high-quality results punctually, and providing valuable feedback on release readiness while participating in requirement analysis and test planning. To be successful in this role, you should possess 4-6 years of industry experience in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in automation testing. A strong grasp of software testing methodologies and best practices is essential, along with hands-on proficiency in Java (Core Java) for test automation. Additionally, you should be adept in Cucumber BDD for writing test scenarios in Gherkin format, have experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar, and be knowledgeable in test frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions, familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and JMeter, and a background working in Agile/Scrum environments are also valuable assets. Proficiency in JIRA & Zephyr for test case management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently are key qualities we are seeking in potential candidates passionate about automation testing and eager to be part of our innovative team.
