Lead I - Java Backend developer

You are looking for a Java Backend Developer with at least 7 years of experience to join our team. As a Java Backend Developer at UST, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems using Core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. - Build and maintain microservices-based applications to meet business needs. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems. - Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and scaling applications. - Implement and optimize database schemas using relational and NoSQL databases. - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and high availability. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers in an Agile environment. - Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development. - Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth application operation. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer with strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. - Proficiency in Microservices architectures and developing/consuming RESTful APIs. - Experience with cloud platforms, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment. - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with containerization technologies, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems. - Knowledge of message brokers and DevOps tools.
