Lead Database Developer

You are a skilled Lead Database Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience, seeking to join a team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases in a hybrid work environment, with mandatory experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for at least 2 years. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining databases using GCP technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams for requirements and database design, ensuring database performance, security, and reliability, optimizing queries and processes, troubleshooting and resolving database issues, providing mentorship to junior team members, and staying updated on industry trends. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 4 to 8 years of database development experience, a minimum of 2 years of GCP experience, strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts, experience in database design, optimization, and performance tuning, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team, effective communication skills, and prior experience in a hybrid work environment is preferred.
