Job Description

Title: Lead Commissioning Engineer

Location:

Contract: FTC for 2 yrs

Introduction:

Assist in developing commissioning schedules and work plans.
Execute and monitor commissioning activities for AQCS systems: LHS, LGS, GDS, GHS, FGS, Absorber, etc.
Support documentation and reporting of commissioning progress and equipment status.
Coordinate with construction, operations, and engineering teams to align on project milestones.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for equipment testing and integration.
Perform system and subsystem-level testing as per procedures and design specifications.
Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and escalate unresolved technical challenges.
Ensure safety standards and protocols are strictly followed on site.
Maintain daily and weekly progress reports for internal and client communication.
Provide inputs for training materials and handover documents for the O&M team.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Experience

1015 years of relevant experience in commissioning activities of power plant or FGD systems.
Hands-on experience in EPC project execution will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of FGD and AQCS systems and components.
Familiarity with commissioning processes and safety practices.
Problem-solving mindset with ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Strong communication skills for coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Proficient in documentation and MS Office tools.
Basic awareness of quality and environmental compliance requirements.
