As a member of the SRAM design group in Bangalore, you will be involved in the development of various types of SRAMs, Register files, and ROMs in advanced technology nodes such as 4nm, 2nm, and beyond. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver highly competitive memories for SAMSUNG Foundry customers. You will take ownership of the entire process from SPEC to GDS and DK delivery, review circuits and robustness reports, and address any potential issues. Additionally, you will review layouts and provide suggestions for improvement to achieve competitive PPA. Understanding SRAM PPA trade-offs and selecting the right techniques to meet specifications will be a key aspect of your role. Effective communication across different teams is essential for successful collaboration. To excel in this position, you should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in electronics and have at least 10 years of working experience, preferably in Memory design. A strong understanding of RC network and finfet fundamentals is necessary. Experience in Custom or Compiler SRAM/ROM development, as well as knowledge of process variability and its impact on memory design, will be beneficial. You should have a thorough understanding of SRAM bit cell characteristics such as Read current, Standby current, data retention, and SNM. Proficiency in circuit design fundamentals, critical path modeling concepts, and various types of models (RC, C, Pai, ladder) is required. Additionally, a good grasp of semiconductor physics, including finfet function and parasitics, is essential. Analyzing layouts and understanding LLE effects will also be part of your responsibilities.
