Laser cutting technician /operator

Operate laser cutting machines (e.g., CO₂, fiber lasers such as Bystronic, Amada, Trumpf, etc.).

Set up and calibrate equipment for each job based on material type and thickness.

Load raw materials and monitor machine operation for accuracy and efficiency.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files, and work orders.

Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to resolve cutting issues or errors.

Maintain and update machine software and assist in programming as needed.

Inspect finished products for defects, tolerances, and quality standards.

Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify accuracy.

Document production outputs and report any quality or mechanical issues.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on laser cutting machines.

Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper use of PPE.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.

1–3 years of experience as a laser cutting operator or technician.

Strong knowledge of laser cutting machines, materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, acrylic), and fabrication processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
