We are seeking individuals who are highly skilled and self-motivated, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PHP development, specifically on the Yii 2.0 platform and PHP MVC framework. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a diverse range of new web applications, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing applications. As a PHP Developer, your main responsibilities will include developing applications using PHP (Yii framework), JavaScript, MySQL, and HTML. You will collaborate with team members and work independently to build complex web-based applications. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining existing codebases by troubleshooting bugs and adding new features. It is essential that you have a deep understanding of our customers" business goals and the interactions within the system. You will work closely with others to define project plans, deliverables, expectations, scheduling, and application functionality. The ideal candidate should be capable of gathering business user requirements and managing projects independently. While being a team player, you should also be able to contribute individually and mentor junior team members effectively. The required skills for this position include proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, LAMP development/coding, MVC Framework (Yii), JavaScript Frameworks (JQuery, Dojo, Ext JS, or Yui), and version control systems (SVN, CVS, GIT, or Mercurial). Knowledge of the LAMP architecture, Laravel framework exposure, efficient MySQL query writing and optimization, Linux systems understanding, Object-Oriented PHP, Test-Driven Development, database architecture, and implementation skills are essential. Furthermore, you should possess strong programming logic, maintain good code-writing style, and ensure proper commenting practices. A comprehensive understanding of HTML is also required for this role.
