Kitchen Fitter/Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting, assembling, and installing wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures based on design specifications. You will work closely with designers, architects, and other team members to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications for interior projects.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials for furniture, cabinets, and decorative elements.
• Install wooden structures, partitions, doors, windows, and custom furniture as per project requirements.
• Repair or refurbish existing furniture and woodwork when necessary.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure precision and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure the final product meets design specifications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in the interior design or furniture industry.
• Proficiency in working with wood, laminates, MDF, and other materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Skilled in using carpentry tools, machines, and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in woodworking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modular furniture and interior fit-outs is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and modern carpentry tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
