Job Summary: The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the dispatch operations at the feed mill. This includes supervising the loading and unloading of feed products, ensuring timely and accurate dispatches, coordinating with transporters, and maintaining proper documentation and communication to support smooth logistics and distribution processes. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch Planning & Execution: Prepare daily dispatch schedules based on orders and production. Ensure timely loading and dispatch of feed products as per schedule. Loading & Unloading Supervision: Supervise the loading of finished goods into trucks to ensure accuracy and avoid damage. Oversee unloading of incoming raw materials or returns, verifying quantity and quality. Ensure loading is done in a safe, efficient, and organized manner. Transport Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with transporters for timely availability of vehicles. Assign loads to the right vehicles based on weight, route, and delivery priority. Resolve transporter issues related to delays, vehicle shortages, or route problems. Documentation & Records: Ensure all dispatch-related documents (invoices, delivery challans, gate passes) are correctly prepared and recorded. Maintain logs of dispatches, transport schedules, and delivery acknowledgments. Inventory Support: Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams for stock availability. Assist in periodic stock checks and reconcile dispatched quantities with inventory records. Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols during loading/unloading operations. Ensure that all dispatches comply with company policies and legal transport regulations. Team Supervision: Manage laborers and loading staff efficiently.
