Position: Accountant / Accounts Executive Location: Taramani, Chennai JD Day-to-Day Accounting Maintain and update accounting records (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, etc.) Handle journal entries, ledger posting, and reconciliations Process vendor bills and employee reimbursements Bank & Cash Management Reconcile bank statements and cash books Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows Prepare and manage petty cash statements Statutory Compliance Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.) Handle TDS calculations and returns Assist in preparing data for Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings Reporting & Documentation Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Maintain records for audit purposes Assist auditors during internal/external audits Other Duties Co-ordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams Assist in budgeting and financial planning Use accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP)
