Job Summary We are seeking a result-driven and experienced Senior Sales Officer to manage and grow our agricultural product sales in the Shivpuri region. The role involves overseeing distributor/dealer relationships, developing new markets, managing a field sales team, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities Handle sales operations in the Shivpuri region and nearby areas. Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, and farmers. Appoint and train Field Officers (FOs) and Market Development Officers (MDOs) as required. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals. Plan and execute product demonstrations, field trials, and awareness programs. Collect market intelligence related to competitor activities, pricing, and farmer needs. Monitor and support secondary sales, stock levels, and timely billing/invoicing. Prepare sales reports, visit reports, and attend regular review meetings. Coordinate with the logistics, accounts, and marketing teams for smooth execution. Address customer complaints or feedback professionally. Required Qualifications Graduate in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agri) or any science graduate with sales experience in agri-sector. Post-graduation in Agri Business Management (preferred but not mandatory) Proven 3+ years of field sales experience in agri-inputs or rural/agriculture-based industries Strong network of dealers and understanding of the Shivpuri agriculture market Ability to lead a small sales team and manage market-level execution Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM apps) Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory Key Skills Sales Planning & Execution Channel Management Rural Marketing Communication & Negotiation Team Handling Knowledge of local crops and farmer needs Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Compensation Package: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Schedule: Day shift Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Agriculture: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
