We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our design studio. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing high-end furniture pieces and décor elements that reflect the brand's aesthetic—modern, minimal, and crafted in metal. This role demands innovation, material knowledge, technical drawing skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize and sketch original furniture and décor designs based on client briefs or brand requirements Develop 2D/3D technical drawings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks Collaborate with artisans, fabricators, and production teams to prototype and refine designs Research materials, finishes, and functional trends, especially in metal-based design Ensure designs are aesthetically aligned with the brand while being functional and manufacturable Modify and improve existing product designs based on customer feedback or production input Coordinate with the marketing team for photo shoots and design descriptions Visit workshops and vendors to supervise production and quality of prototypes Maintain documentation and specifications for all design projects Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field 2–5 years of experience in furniture/product design (metal design preferred) Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite Strong sketching, visualization, and rendering ability Understanding of materials, ergonomics, finishes, and joinery techniques Familiarity with CNC cutting, welding, metal finishing, and fabrication processes Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork. Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative furniture and décor designs that blend functionality, aesthetics, and brand identity. You will work closely with the production, marketing, and sales teams to bring design concepts to life from sketch to showroom. Key Responsibilities: Develop original furniture concepts based on design trends, client needs, and brand aesthetics. Create detailed sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks). Select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction techniques suited for high-quality production. Collaborate with craftsmen, engineers, and suppliers to refine prototypes and ensure feasibility. Conduct market research to stay updated with trends in materials, finishes, and user preferences. Visit production units or vendor workshops to oversee design implementation and quality. Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and sample boards for internal and client reviews. Ensure all designs meet safety, ergonomics, and durability standards. Coordinate with the marketing team for photoshoots, catalog design, and product naming. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in furniture or product design preferred. Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Strong knowledge of materials like metal, wood, glass, and upholstery. Excellent sense of form, proportion, color, and detailing. Good communication and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualities: Experience in metal furniture or luxury design segment is a plus. Understanding of production techniques (welding, powder coating, CNC cutting, etc.).
