Job Summary: The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth by combining technical knowledge with strong sales skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Expertise: o Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services. o Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products and solutions for their needs. o Collaborate with the engineering team to address technical queries and challenges. o Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive products. 4. Sales Administration: o Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required. o Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions in the CRM system. o Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. 5. Training and Development: o Stay informed about new product developments and updates. o Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to improve team performance. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical background. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the [Engineering industry/sector]. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical products and solutions. Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings. Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales and business development. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers. Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to address customer concerns and find effective solutions. Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events as required.
