Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and manage the housekeeping department of our resort. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and linen management. Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure consistent quality and cleanliness. Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet resort standards. Manage housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and team motivation. Ensure effective inventory control and procurement of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment. Coordinate with maintenance, front office, and other departments to resolve guest requests and issues. Implement health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations. Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services professionally and promptly. Monitor housekeeping budgets, control costs, and optimize resource usage. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping reports. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field. Minimum 4–6 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficient in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in luxury or destination resorts. Familiarity with eco-friendly or sustainable housekeeping practices. Knowledge of property management systems (e.g., Opera, IDS).
