As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of our services. Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries. Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organisation. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. A valid commercial driving licence is essential for operating larger vehicles. Familiarity with local roads and routes is advantageous. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
