Key Responsibilities: CNC Programming & Setup: Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code, CAM software, and machine interfaces for turning, milling, and VMC machines. Production Planning & Supervision: Plan daily/weekly production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure on-time delivery of parts and components. Team Management: Lead and coordinate the CNC machinist team, ensuring adherence to production targets, safety protocols, and quality standards. Tooling & Machine Maintenance: Select appropriate cutting tools, manage tool life, and coordinate preventive maintenance of CNC machines to minimize downtime. Quality Control: Review machining operations using measuring tools (Vernier, micrometers, height gauges) and ensure parts are produced according to the drawing/specifications. Process Improvement: Continuously monitor machining operations for efficiency and suggest improvements in programming, tooling, or methods to reduce cycle time and waste. Key Responsibilities: Manage Complete CNC Section: Oversee daily operations of all CNC machines including production planning, scheduling, and execution. Team Handling: Supervise CNC operators, allocate work as per skill and shift, monitor performance, and ensure workforce discipline. Production Monitoring: Ensure achievement of production targets, minimize machine idle time, and optimize machine utilization. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, 5S, and company SOPs in the CNC section. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in CNC operations and production team handling. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G & M codes, and tool selection. Experience in production planning, preventive maintenance, and team leadership. Familiar with quality standards, drawings, and machining tolerances. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
