Job Title: District Sales Manager (DSM) Company name-Sahaj Retail Ltd Location: Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Bhadrak Reporting To: Cluster Head CTC Range: 3.50LPA to 3.75LPA --- Job Objective: To drive business growth and achieve sales targets in the assigned district by managing Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), leading field operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and expanding business opportunities. --- Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets as per business plan. Expand product/service penetration across all assigned blocks and GPs. Identify and onboard potential VLEs in underserved areas. Monitor district-wise performance and implement corrective actions where needed. Team & Partner Management Lead and manage VLE network across the district. Conduct regular field visits, trainings, and performance reviews. Motivate and guide VLEs to increase productivity and citizen reach. Resolve field-level issues and maintain VLE satisfaction. Operations & Monitoring Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports. Ensure proper documentation and compliance in VLE onboarding and operations. Coordinate with internal departments (IT, finance, HR) for smooth workflow. Monitor service quality, grievance redressal, and customer satisfaction. Government & Stakeholder Engagement Build relationships with local government officials, GP members, and community leaders. Represent the company in district-level meetings, awareness camps, and drives. Support implementation of government schemes and digital initiatives. --- Required Skills: ✅Technical & Sales Skills Strong sales planning and execution ability. Knowledge of MIS/reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems). Field knowledge of digital services, G2C schemes, and rural outreach. ✅People & Communication Skills Effective communication in Odia, English, and Hindi. Team handling, leadership, and motivation skills. Conflict resolution and relationship-building skills. ✅Behavioral Attributes Self-driven, target-oriented, and disciplined. Strong field presence and adaptability in rural conditions. Ethical, reliable, and customer-focused mindset. --- Qualifications & Experience: Education: Graduate in any stream (MBA preferred). Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in field sales/BD/retail/FMCG/government projects or similar rural engagement roles. Preferred: Experience in Fintech, financial inclusion, or digital services is an added advantage. --- Working Conditions: ▪ Must be ready for daily field travel within district blocks. ▪ Own two-wheeler and smartphone mandatory. ▪ Willing to work on weekends and extended hours when required
