🚀 We're Hiring: Mechanical Maintenance Senior Engineer 📍**Location: Bundala (Punjab) Distt. Jalandhar💼 **Experience Required: 8-10 years in heavy manufacturing maintenance (forging/automotive industry preferred)**Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent**Salary- As Per Experience Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance responsible for the continuous and efficient mechanical operation of all utility equipment, forging presses and gear manufacturing machinery. The role includes preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machines such as -Forging presses & hammersCNC & conventional gear Hobbing / Shaping machinesHeat treatment furnacesInduction heatersInduction hardening machinesHydraulic & pneumatic equipment Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of forging presses (mechanical/hydraulic), hammers, induction heaters, and trimming machines.Maintain and troubleshoot gear manufacturing machines including mechanical gear hobbing, CNC gear hobbing and skiving machines, gun drilling and grinding machines.Carry out maintenance and repairs of CNC operated machines (turning, HMC, VMC machines), used in machining of gears.Maintain hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls, and lubrication systems across all machinery.Ensure alignment, balancing, and mechanical integrity of rotating equipment (e.g., motors, gearboxes, spindles).Diagnose root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.Maintain proper documentation of machine maintenance, spares usage, and service logs.Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime and plan shutdowns effectively.Monitor the condition of equipment using vibration analysis, temperature checks, and oil analysis where applicable.Comply with safety standards and ensure maintenance activities are performed with minimal risk.Maintain inventory of spare parts and raise purchase requests in time.Lead or assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment or machinery upgrades. Skills and Competencies:Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems in forging and machining environments.Familiarity with gear manufacturing processes and tolerances.Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.Working knowledge of TPM, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.Should have good experience in maintenance ERP modules, preferably SAP. Preferred Experience:Maintenance experience with drop hammers, forging Screw presses (up to 3000T), induction heaters.Experience with CNC gear cutting/grinding machines – Liebherr, Pfauter, or similar.
