Job Description

  • Provide administrative support including expense reimbursements, receipt management, and data entry using Excel.
  • Assist Japanese expatriates with daily needs and local coordination.
  • Support procurement team with documentation and database creation.
  • Communicate effectively in Japanese (especially verbal communication).
  • Liaise with external vendors and consultants (accounting operations to be handled by an external firm).
  • Provide assistance with basic import/export documentation as needed.

Requirements:

  • Language:

    • Japanese language proficiency
    • Proficiency in English; Kannada language is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • Prior experience in admin or general affairs, ideally within a Japanese company.
    • Experience supporting Japanese expatriates or working in a bilingual/multicultural environment is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with import/export processes is a plus.
  • Other Qualities:

    • Flexible and proactive attitude, especially during the setup phase of the office.
    • Preferably a local candidate familiar with the Bangalore area.
