Cloud & Datacenter Expertise: Manage and support cloud-based and on-premise datacenter environments, with a focus on Atlassian tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. 2. Project & Delivery Management: Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely execution of deliverables, quality assurance, and alignment with client expectations. 3. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 56 technical professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. 4. Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, understanding business needs, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. 5. Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain custom scripts, JQL queries, and automation workflows to enhance platform functionality and efficiency. 6. Plugin Management: Configure, customize, and support Atlassian plugins such as Qmetry, EazyBI, and Script Runner to meet business requirements. 7. Reporting & Analytics: Utilize tools like EazyBI and custom dashboards to provide actionable insights and performance metrics to stakeholders. 8. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation using Confluence and promote knowledge sharing within the team and across departments. 9. Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills. Role & responsibilities Key Responsibility Administer and maintain JIRA and Confluence environments, including user management, permission schemes, and access controls. Design, create, and manage complex JIRA workflows, custom fields, screen schemes, and dashboards. Configure and support JIRA projects for various teams (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) across the organization. Customize Confluence spaces, templates, and macros to support collaboration and knowledge sharing. Integrate JIRA and Confluence with other tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc. Implement and manage third-party add-ons, plugins, and extensions. Perform regular system audits, health checks, backups, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, procedures, and best practices. Provide technical support and training to end-users and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with IT and project teams to gather requirements and deliver Atlassian-based solutions. Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection guidelines. Skill set 78 years of experience in administering and supporting JIRA and Confluence. Strong knowledge of JIRA project configuration, workflow design, automation rules (Automation for JIRA), and scripting using ScriptRunner or similar tools. Expertise in user and group management, permission schemes, roles, and global settings. Experience with REST APIs and integration of JIRA/Confluence with other systems. Proficient in installing, upgrading, and maintaining Atlassian tools (on-premises or cloud-based). Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices. Experience with JIRA Service Management is a plus. Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Linux server environments.
