Job Description

As a Java Microservices Developer at NTT DATA in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with software and production engineers to ensure high reliability and performance of products, conducting code reviews, developing technical documentation, and building robust test suites. Additionally, you will design and implement complex systems that can scale rapidly with minimal maintenance, develop effective service/product interfaces, and provide technical support for various applications within the technology portfolio. To excel in this role, you must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Batch, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS), RDS Oracle DB, and Apigee/API Gateway. You should also possess expertise in frontend development using React JS, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web application development, along with experience in Rest API integrations. Furthermore, familiarity with API layer security (e.g., JWT, OATH2), API logging, API testing, and creating REST API documentation using tools like Swagger and YAML is desirable. Proficiency in TDD, writing unit test cases in JUnit, and knowledge of unit test frameworks like Mockito and Junit are essential. Experience with SQL, stored procedures, Unix, Linux Operating Systems, Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins, DevOps, CI/CD, Maven, and Hibernate ORM is also required.
