Job Title: Senior Buyer / Sr. Associate

The IT Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and supporting all IT vendors, licensing, and maintenance agreements. This role involves building a portfolio of current IT vendors and handling the software procurement process for the ongoing review of IT vendors, licensing, and maintenance agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management

   : Manage maintenance/service agreements across software and Software Services.

2. Contract Analysis

   : Understand overall cost drivers in a contract and quantify them as value to be negotiated or structure it as a cost.

3. Risk Management

   : Define accurate cash inflows of a deal, set penalties on failures, define deliverables, milestones, and ways to overcome probable risks in a contract.

4. Market Analysis

   : Validate market trends in software licensing and submit innovative ideas to remodel the licensing metrics.

5. Collaboration

   : Collaborate with IT Teams and other departments to negotiate terms with vendors, to mitigate risk and maximize price efficiencies.

6. Invoicing and Payment

   : Work closely with IT and Finance departments to ensure that invoicing and payment occur on a timely and accurate basis.

7. Contract Negotiation

   : Conduct negotiation of pricing to leverage volume purchasing and achieve highest cost savings.

8. Agreement Monitoring

   : Proactively monitor when the terms of agreements are nearing expiration. Discuss on-going requirements with IT Management & maintain 30-60-90 days SLA

9. Reporting

   : Develop and maintain central tracking and reporting mechanism for all contracts and agreements within the responsibility of IT Procurement ensuring annual renewals are completed.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. They should be customer service oriented and can interpret, review, and negotiate technology-related contracts.

• A bachelors degree in business management, economics, commerce, supply chain management, or Computer Science.
• 5-10 years of IT Procurement/Sourcing support experience.
• Ariba Procure to Pay tool usage – RFQ/RFP/CLM
• Must have Software procurement licensing experience and related Software agreement and understanding in IT networks and infrastructure, data centre technology, end user, mobile, web and social media technology and terms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical contractual aspects to senior leaders within and external to the IT Organization.
• Excellent customer service, decision-making, and organizational skills.

This role requires a deep understanding of the IT vendor landscape, software licensing, and maintenance agreements. Experience in software procurement and contract negotiation is highly desirable.
