Job Description

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports the operations of the organization. Your role will involve working with servers, networks, storage, and cloud systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems and services. Your impact will be significant as you design and deploy IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, storage, and cloud systems. You will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining system performance, availability, and security. Additionally, you will implement automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and management, such as Terraform and Ansible. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues will also be part of your responsibilities. Managing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments will be essential. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related fields. Possessing certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure Administrator is preferred. With at least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and management, you are expected to have proficiency in system administration (Linux, Windows) and networking (DNS, VPN, firewalls). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is crucial. Knowledge of automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash is required. A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and backup/recovery strategies is essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment across the globe will be key to your success in this role.,
