IT Head of Security - Senior Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join us as Senior Vice President, Head of Security ASIA. Reporting to the local CIO and global CISO, you will shape the information security strategy and engineering direction. As the IT Head of Security ASIA, you will oversee all security aspects for the region, requiring technical expertise and adaptability to the rapid pace of financial services. We seek an excellent team player with strong technical and communication skills, self-motivation, and a drive for security program progress. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of security personnel across multiple domains including Security Operations, Global Security Administration, and Network Security Engineering. - Provide strategic security guidance for engineering high-performing teams and drive security solutions" vision and direction. - Conduct technical vendor security reviews and ensure proactive security measures from vendors. - Collaborate with teams to implement security at all levels within the firm. - Identify and address emerging technology threats, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure industry standards alignment. - Oversee the information security program, governance framework, incident response, and global security initiatives. Required Background: - Extensive knowledge of information security principles and best practices. - Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations. - Experience in systems, applications, or architecture planning and driving security awareness programs. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels. - Knowledge of data governance challenges, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and Agile practices. - Fundamental knowledge of AWS and/or Azure IaaS/PaaS services, BS/BA degree in information technology. - Self-disciplined, self-starter with leadership skills to resolve complex incidents and deliver projects effectively.,
