Role & responsibilities 1. Develop sub-contracting strategy and operation plan 2. Undertake vendor development activities to identify and develop a pool of reliable sub- contractors with structured Vendor Evaluation process and database; 3. Undertake a proper vendor selection process as per the framework developed to award contracts to right, capable contractors. 4. Review performance of sub-contractors by way of inputs from project team and a structured process of vendor performance evaluation; and communicate with subcontractors to enable them improve their performance. 5. Undertake Vendor Relationship Management as a formal process to help good vendors develop as long-term business partner for companys growth strategy. 6. Develop and review SOR for various sub-contracting jobs by projects to ensure budgetary commitments and ensure contractors work within this framework Develop and finalise packages and thereby scope of work for sub-contracting work in consultation with Planning and Execution teams. 7. Ensure that the resource requirements of the subcontractor, in terms of materials &, machinery are available and do not become a constraint; and accordingly coordinate with Procurement and P&M departments. 8. Ensure issuance of work orders as per the standard approved terms and conditions of contract and also negotiate terms with vendors so as to effectively manage the project cash flows and risks. 9.
