Job Description

Ortho One is looking for an experienced Billing Executive with a background in hospital billing, specifically Inpatient (IP) Billing . The ideal candidate has the ability to manage patient billing efficiently while delivering excellent service and coordination with internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Collect advance payments and finalize bills before patient discharge. Conduct daily ward rounds for billing updates and record accuracy. Address patient billing queries and clarify surgery/insurance details. Follow up on pending payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely submissions. Handle refunds, update billing records, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: Qualification: Any degree Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital billing. Skills: Strong inter-department coordination, particularly with consultants, the insurance team, and other relevant departments. Knowledge of insurance billing processes and payment verification. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Time-management skills, ensuring timely billing, follow-ups, and reporting. Excellent communication skills for both internal teams and patient interactions. The candidate must speak Malayalam, English, and Tamil fluently.
