Position Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end Business Partnering for the largest business line for Intertek. The role and support will lead executing the talent agenda for Caleb Brett, Agri, Chemical & Pharma & Assuris. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the IT/AV conformity assessment team comprising of Asst. Managers/Sr. Engr and Engineers and deliver the operational results for the business stream. Knowledge on Amazon Product Reliability and Performance testing on IT/AV Gadgets. Leads and supports staff to efficiently and effectively exceed the customer expectations for the services offered. Participates in standard development committees to represent Intertek and provides inputs to the technical points to support standards development. Delivering operational KPIs such as Meeting the promise dates committed to customers, turnaround time, NPS, quality etc. Be accountable for all the accreditations, audits both internal and external and prepare the team to address the requirements. Technically competent to address and interpret the standards to manage the expectations of the customers and the team. Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and third-party testing laboratories to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives. Familiarity with relevant testing standards and regulations (e.g., UL, IEC). Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent work experience Relevant Experience: 8 -10 years’ experience related to ITAV products exposure in Design, Development, Quality, Testing and Certification. More exposure to testing is desired. Expertise at: Extensive experience with Information technology and Audio Video, UPS and Measuring & control equipment etc. Any exposure to Testing & Certification is added advantage like CB Certification and/or LTR Status. Highly conversant in Product standards applicable to various markets especially European and North American and the best practices. Testing and Certification of the products and documentation for the construction review, test results, BOM etc. as part of the certification document experience is essential. Familiarity with various tests applicable for the products and interpretation of the results as per the international standards is essential. Familiarity with the industry, user’s expectations and commercial understanding of the business will be an added advantage. High interpersonal skills, customer management, project management skills are essential. People management and team management skills are essential.
