As the Audio/Video Technical Director at our company located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, you will play a crucial role in leading the technical and operational aspects of our cutting-edge AV solutions business. Reporting to the Managing Partner and working within the Operations department, you will be responsible for providing innovative audio-visual solutions and ensuring exceptional client experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the technical authority supporting the sales and operations teams, leading pre-sales activities, and developing detailed commercial proposals. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, propose tailored AV solutions, and ensure technical feasibility. Your expertise in digital signage infrastructure, LED display systems, and video conferencing technologies will be essential in driving innovation and enhancing project delivery. In addition to technical leadership and sales support, you will oversee the design, engineering, and coordination efforts of AV projects. This will involve assessing client drawings, conducting field surveys, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of all AV systems. Throughout the project execution phase, you will maintain a focus on operational excellence, ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and performance. As a leader in our AV solutions business, you will also be responsible for fostering innovation, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and sharing knowledge within the team. By developing custom product solutions, mentoring staff, and conducting internal training sessions, you will contribute to our company's reputation as a leader in AV and digital signage solutions. To excel in this role, you should hold certifications such as AVIXA CTS/D/I, possess strong technical skills in system descriptions and material lists, and demonstrate proficiency in software applications like MS Office and AutoCAD. Your operational skills should include a deep understanding of audio, video, control systems, and network design. Additionally, your personal skills should reflect strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
