The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of timepieces, from quartz to mechanical movements. Key Responsibilities: • Inspect and diagnose issues with mechanical and quartz watches. • Perform repairs, including movement servicing, battery replacement, pressure testing, bracelet adjustments, and polishing. • Replace and calibrate watch parts (e.g., gaskets, crystals, stems, crowns, etc.). • Maintain records of repairs and parts used. • Ensure all work meets quality and brand standards. • Communicate with service advisors or customers regarding repair status and options. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Use appropriate tools and equipment to ensure accurate and damage-free repairs. Requirements: • Proven experience as a watch technician or watchmaker. • Formal training or certification (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA, or similar) preferred but not required. • Strong knowledge of watch movements, including both quartz and mechanical. • Ability to work with small components with precision and care. • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. • Basic computer skills for logging repairs and inventory.
