How you’ll make an impact: To successfully take on this position, you need to be thorough and structured with a high technical interest and strive for good solutions within the set time limits. You will be involved in projects, tenders, base work. To grow with each task, enabling yourself to develop and take more and more responsibility. HVDC is a complex product, there is always more to learn. Model and study the stability of HVDC system through simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, Power factory and design the controllers. Handle the interface with other interfacing departments. Ensuring you understand their needs, and they yours, and to work for a good corporation for best end results together. Your Background: Should have B.E. in EEE with 5+Years Experience) / Master of Engineering - Power System (3 - 8 years experience)/ PhD - Power System (1-5 years experience) You should have extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and modelling of electrical network /HVDC/FACT. You should have knowledge of Power Transmission Projects (EPC) along with PSSE, PSCAD, Matlab, Power Factory Extensive knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnector, Surge Arrester etc. Knowledge in selection, sizing and integration of above equipment based on customer functional specification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.

Technical Presentation skills Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design & Development Engineer to join our team specializing in electrical switchgear products, with a strong focus on instrument transformers and condenser Bushing. The idea candidate will have Strong understanding of electrical switchgear principles, instrument transformer design and applications. Key Responsibilities: To prepare Technical Instructions for the procurement, production & QA team Assembly and disassembly of In-house and benchmark products. Study, Design and Implement best manufacturing practices. Development of New products by--- 1. Electrical design that includes design calculations, drawings, bill of material schematics etc. 2. Coordination with Internal and External Customers and suppliers for manufacturing of components. 3. Active participation in assembly of new designed products . 4. Addressing corrective and preventive actions. 5. Validation of products at inhouse type or third -party lab. 6. Preparation of technology/product transfer manual. 7. Preparation of technical specifications, technical manufacturing instructions & SOPs for new product development. 8. Involved in RM cost reduction initiatives.

1) Design of Instrument Transformer Development of specifications for current and voltage transformers, ensuring compliance with National and International standards. 2) Product Design Review Collaborating with internal customers to gather input, prepare technical drawings, and ensure all specifications are met as per the customer needs. 3) Feasibility and Cost Estimation Analysing design feasibility for tender inquiries, estimating material costs, and preparing General Technical Proposals (GTPs). 4) Coordination with Marketing Addressing customer queries, obtaining drawing approvals, and providing technical justifications to support marketing efforts. 5) New Product Development Leading discussions on new product initiatives, planning development phases, and coordinate with various departments to execute the product development as per plan. 6) New feature Development Engaging in discussions to explore new features for existing products or new specifications required by customers. 1) Electromagnetic designs for CTs and IVTs. 2) Provide material costing to domestic & export marketing. 3) Selection of material to meet the requirements of customer specifications 4) Release of drawing input to prepare the customer drawings for CT , IVTs 5) Technical clarifications on customers queries. Design feasibility for tender and orders processing for Current transformer and Voltage transformer, Material cost estimation, Preparation of Customer drawings and Technical Data sheet.
