Operations Analyst: Role Overview As an Operations Analyst , you'll be a vital part of our team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across multiple cities. You'll need an ingenious, scientific approach to problems and a strong outcome-oriented point of view . Demonstrated experience in managing operations is a must. Key Responsibilities Inspection Coordination : Ensure seamless inspection alignment and timely execution across 10 cities. Inspector Feedback Loop : Engage with inspectors to gather follow-up information and insights. Coordination : Work closely with Lead Owners for scheduling, updates, and operational synchronization. Roster Management : Create and manage inspector rosters to guarantee optimal coverage and efficiency. Inspection Scheduling : Maintain and monitor the inspection scheduler for accurate tracking. Daily Reporting : Keep reports updated with daily scheduled and completed inspections. Communication : Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to serve as the operational bridge between teams. Availability : This role requires a 6-day work week , and you should be available for all operational calls as needed. Requirements 1 to 5 years of experience in hub/warehouse operations . Team handling experience is mandatory . Graduation degree . Ability to think creatively about business problems and devise effective solutions. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment .

Role & responsibilities 1. Operate the machine as per work instructions. 2. Machining as per drawing. 3. Use of calibrated instrument for inspection. 4. Fill out the production report. 5. Update daily preventive maintenance checklist. 6. Follow the daily production plan. 7. Non-conformity communicates to superiors. 8. Basic Knowledge of Drawing Reading. 9. Basic Machine Operating. 10. Role & responsibilities - Handling PCM Siebel software tool to monitor the Project Progress i.e. starting from Inspection schedule, man-day planning, Time Study, Cost Control by assigning multiple tasks within a given time frame, Project Time sheet and Reporting to client. - Inspection coordination and execution of Large project for various clients. - Assistance for approval of Project documents for various mechanical items require for inspection at vendor end. - Responsible for preparation of annexure for invoicing and ensuring that the Correct Invoices are issued in a timely manner to client. Operation of single/double girder EOT Cranes ( Manual & Remote) Rigging and load securing techniques Inspection and certification of lifting slings, hooks, lifting belts and spreader bars Maintenance and replacement of shackles, hooks, belts etc.

In-Process Inspections: Monitor the quality of steel during various stages of production (e.g., melting, rolling, forming) to ensure consistency and prevent defects. Finished Product Inspection: Conduct final inspections on steel products (e.g., sheets, bars, pipes) to verify that they meet customer specifications and industry standards. Visual Inspections: Examine the appearance, dimensions, and surface finish of steel products using visual methods and measuring tools. Measurement and Testing: Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and test equipment (e.g., hardness testers, metallography) to verify dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, and chemical composition. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformities in materials or products. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and non-conformity reports. Collaboration and Problem Solving: Communicate inspection findings to production teams, assist in identifying root causes of quality issues, and collaborate on implementing corrective actions. Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of quality control processes and procedures. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all inspections and testing activities comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO), company procedures, and regulatory requirements. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Required Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent: Most entry-level QC inspector positions require at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Steel Processing: Understanding of various steel production processes and their impact on quality. Familiarity with ASTM and ISO Standards: Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Proficiency in Measuring and Testing Equipment: Ability to operate and maintain precision measuring instruments and test equipment. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and solve problems related to quality. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with production teams, management, and other stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on details and accurately perform inspections and measurements.
