The Innovation Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that foster a culture of innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver value to our customers. This role requires a visionary leader who can collaborate with various departments, leverage innovative technologies, and ensure alignment Our client goals. Role & responsibilities Innovation Strategy: Define and lead the innovation strategy for Our client , aligning with Energy's global innovation framework Project Management: Manage and oversee innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and customer service to drive innovation initiatives External Engagement: Engage with external partners, startups, and innovation networks to identify new opportunities and solutions Technology Trends: Monitor and analyze technology trends, customer behavior insights, and market changes to anticipate and act on new opportunities Training and Development: Support the development of local innovation capabilities through training programs and joint initiatives Sustainability: Contribute to Energy's sustainability goals by developing innovative solutions that reduce carbon footprint and enhance energy efficiency Qualification & Competencies Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in leading innovation projects and managing cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of technology trends and market dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic systems thinker Expert in all things user-centered design (UCD), including user research, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, addressing usability, accessibility, etc. Experienced in creating reusable design frameworks (e.g., Design Systems) to streamline design-to-implementation processes Highly experienced in developing creative, strategic research plans that seamlessly connect big-picture thinking with detailed execution. Humble, curious, and value-oriented, understanding the iterative nature of product development and favoring action and learning over exhaustive upfront planning. Inspirational player-coach, capable of leading teams through transformation and playing an active role as a product experience leader. Skilled in using rapid experimentation to develop lean and simple solutions that address customer needs efficiently and effectively. Experienced with lean UX tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, Axure, InVision, and more. Bachelors degree in design, psychology, cognitive science or related field; Advanced degree is a plus. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Experience in DesignOps is a plus. A strong portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience in UX skills is required.
