Duration: 8Months Job Type: Contract The top 3 responsibilities: Execute infrastructure migration projects from CloudFormation to AWS CDK Perform cross-region service migrations within AWS Implement platform upgrades (e.g., JDK migrations) Apply security standards and compliance requirements to existing systems Follow detailed technical documentation to complete mandated changes Document progress, challenges, and solutions during implementation Collaborate with internal teams to minimize disruption during transitions Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks and migrations where possible Monitor and troubleshoot issues during and after implementation Leadership Principles: Bias for Action, Deliver Results Mandatory Requirements: Basic software development experience (entry-level SDE skills) Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure concepts Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles Experience with at least one programming language (Java preferred) Ability to follow technical documentation and implementation guidelines Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation Preferred skills: Experience with AWS CDK or similar IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Previous work on infrastructure migration projects Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis Experience with shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell) Understanding of networking concepts and secure application deployment Education or Certification: Graduation
