You are looking for a Technical Writer / Technical documentation specialist with a strong knowledge of Azure to join our team in Bangalore on a contract basis for a duration of 6 months. As an experienced Documentation Engineer, you will focus on Microsoft Azure environments, creating, maintaining, and enhancing documentation related to our Azure-based systems. Your role will involve developing clear and comprehensive documentation for Azure-based applications, infrastructure, and network configurations, collaborating with various teams to gather information, updating existing documentation, implementing version control, ensuring compliance with industry standards, facilitating knowledge sharing, and creating troubleshooting guides. Your responsibilities will include creating user-friendly documentation that can be easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences, utilizing documentation tools efficiently, and ensuring that documentation reflects changes in Azure resources, configurations, and deployments. You will work closely with application developers, infrastructure engineers, and network specialists to ensure that documentation aligns with the actual environment and supports the organization's goals. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, proven experience working with Microsoft Azure, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in documentation tools, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, knowledge of version control systems and documentation management tools, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and Azure certifications would be a plus. Job Role: ServiceNow CMDB Consultant Job Location: Remote --candidate must visit the Hyderabad client once or twice a month. Key Responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive ServiceNow CMDB ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Define CI class structures, data models, and relationships. Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to enhance CI population and visibility. Troubleshoot discovery challenges and enhance coverage and accuracy. Integrate CMDB with external systems using APIs, MID Servers, and ETL tools. Monitor CMDB health via dashboards, audits, and reports. Define and enforce CMDB governance processes and compliance. Align with ITIL best practices and work closely with Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management teams. Provide mentorship to junior developers and technical guidance within the team. Maintain documentation and present CMDB compliance/health metrics to stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications : 510 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB , Discovery , and Service Mapping . Strong knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud, applications). Expertise in JavaScript , Glide scripting , data modeling, and custom integrations. Hands-on experience with MID Servers , REST/SOAP APIs , and data integration tools. Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 framework, particularly Configuration Management. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder interaction skills. Preferred Certifications : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Discovery and/or CMDB Specialist Certification
