Job Description as below: - Floating requests for quotations - Raw materials and Packing materials - Follow up for quotation and comparison of prices from different sources - Negotiating with manufacturers for price, delivery and payments .- Making and sending PO to suppliers. - Identifying new suppliers for Raw materials and Packing materials. - Coordinate with the design team for new product dimensions, styles, pack size and art work - Proofing of the Artwork and taking confirmation from the RA team and factory. - Procurement of Packing materials like Tubes, Cartons, Shipper, Labels, Leaflets, Pumps, HDPE/PP Bottles, Glass Vials, Rubber stoppers, Aluminium flip-offs, Jars, Aluminium pouches, Seals, Caps, Shrinks, etc- Coordination of the Cylinders made.- Licensing of products. - Comparing sizes of the vials, rubber stoppers, cartons etc. - Maintaining & updating records of supplier for contact details- Monitoring of pending payment of supplier & co-ordination with Account department of timely release of payment. - Cheque dispatch & filing of P.O. related documents and records. - Follow up with a factory for Dispatch - Taking relevant documents from manufacturers required for customs and export purpose.Planning deliveries & dispatches and co-ordination with Logistics department for the same. - Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation. Role & responsibilities 1. Good knowledge of dealing with vendors catering to IBR/ASTM/ASME requirements. 2. Buying components from overseas vendors and having good knowledge of Incoterms. Maintaining close coordination/follow-up with existing vendors. Release of purchase orders/follow-up, and ensure timely delivery from the vendors. Purchase Raw materials such as Carbon Steel/Stainless Steel (Pipes/Tubes/BQ Plates/bars, etc), casting/forgings/valves /fittings/Consumables, etc. Ensuring material availability in the regular production schedule. Good understanding of Quality norms and ability to understand Engineering drawings. Visit suppliers regularly for expediting processes & deliveries. Good knowledge of Metallurgy. Strong commercial knowledge Good negotiation skills. Required Skill Set Knowledge of MS office, Excel, word. Should be internet savvy and work on ERP/ABAS. Good negotiation skills and good knowledge of commercial terms and conditions. Willing to travel and meet develop new vendors. Preferred candidate profile Fluency in the English Language is mandatory. Good Negotiation skills. Experience in dealing with foundries/Forging units/Machining units is mandatory. Candidates from the Valve Industry and good knowledge of Machining will be preferred.

Identify and mitigate material risk for Production. Regularly updating to the management on deliverables on KPI. Proactive actions to reduce or eliminate production material shortages, spare orders, intercompany orders. Review of Technical Documents like Drawings, BOM and prepare details, Proactively discuss and clarify with Engineering for the Gaps for smooth procurement process. Planning and allocation of resources to achieve Monthly & weekly procurement targets. Electrical Panels Assembly Knowledge / Awareness of raw material, electrical, general material buy. Good Oral and verbal communication. Work with Cross Functional Team to achieve Business Deliverables. Preferred candidate profile Experience in Hi Mix Low volume in Medium voltage and electrical panels
