ROLE : SAP Archiving & ILM Specialist Location : Bengaluru NP : Immediate - 15 days Role Summary Experienced professional with 6+ years in SAP archiving and ILM to design, implement, and manage archiving strategies for standard SAP objects to improve data efficiency and system performance. Key Responsibilities Archiving Strategy Design solutions for archiving standard SAP objects (FI, procurement, logistics documents). Configure archiving classes, profiles, and retention periods. ILM Implementation Deploy SAP ILM to automate archiving processes. Define ILM policies, rules, and schedules per business requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration Engage with business units to understand retention needs. Provide recommendations and best-practice insights. Monitoring & Optimization Monitor ILM performance and adjust as needed. Maintain data maps/dictionaries ensuring data integrity throughout archiving. Reporting & Analytics Develop dashboards to monitor archiving progress, volumes, and system health. Advise stakeholders based on analytic insights. Compliance & Security Ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Implement data access controls, encryption, and archiving security measures. Cross-functional Coordination Collaborate with IT teams to align archiving with system integrations and tools. Required Experience & Skills SAP Archiving Expertise 6+ years in SAP, with a focus on archiving and ILM. In-depth knowledge of archiving classes, profiles, and retention settings. ILM Proficiency Proven experience configuring SAP ILM policies and schedules. Data Governance & Quality Familiar with SAP data management, governance frameworks, and ensuring high data quality. Analytical & Problem-solving Abilities Strong analytical mindset and logical troubleshooting skills. Business & Communication Acumen Ability to translate complex technical solutions for business stakeholders. Solid understanding of business processes and data retention requirements.
