IBM Middleware Developer:

• 5+ Years as IBM Middleware Developer
• Design and develop scalable RESTful and SOAP APIs using IBM API Connect, ensuring adherence to best practices for API lifecycle management.
• Implement robust integration solutions between internal and external systems, utilizing APIC for managing the entire API lifecycle.
• Customize and develop API policies, including security policies, traffic management, and routing rules, using DataPower and APIC.
• Develop custom code and transformation logic in Node.js, Java, Python, JavaScript, and XSLT for complex API use cases and advanced data handling.
• Design and implement API security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, Mutual TLS (mTLS), and other authentication and authorization frameworks.
• Lead the integration of legacy systems with API-driven architectures, ensuring smooth data and service migration.

Strong Knowledge on the L3 IBM middleware platform administration support for the following products on OpenShift and On-perm.

- API Connect

- DataPower Gateway

- App Connect (ACE)

- MQ (Messaging Queue)

- IBM CP4I

- IBM platform on Openshift Container, & on-prem.

Patch and upgrade activities.

Good exposure to the OpenShift Container infrastructure.

Minimum 10 years of experience in IBM middleware platform support.

Strong team leadership skills to achieve project commitment & deliverables on time,

Skill sets to provide design strategies for implementing IBM middleware stacks.

Installation, configuration & setup of IBM middleware platform on OpenShift and On-perm

Security governance of the IBM platform by RBAC

Manage IBM licenses and renewals.

New application onboarding support associated with the IBM platform.

PCI compliance and vulnerability remediation.

Capacity management of the IBM platform.
