Role Description We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Freezer & Chiller Maintenance Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of our cold storage facilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining optimal temperature conditions, ensuring the integrity of stored poultry products, and supporting operational efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift troubleshooting Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of freezers, chillers, compressors, and cold storage units to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration system issues including electrical faults, mechanical breakdowns, and gas leaks. Perform brazing and welding work when required, especially in case of gas leak repairs. Repair or replace faulty compressors , fans, motors, and other key components of freezer and chiller units. Monitor and calibrate temperature control systems , ensuring accurate and consistent readings at all times. Ensure that all refrigeration and HVAC equipment complies with safety, hygiene, and operational quality standards . Maintain detailed service logs, maintenance reports , and manage inventory of tools and spare parts . Respond swiftly to breakdowns or emergency repair requests , minimizing equipment downtime and disruptions to operations. Work closely with equipment manufacturers, service providers, and internal teams to plan repairs, upgrades, or equipment replacements. Ensure cold storage areas maintain the required conditions for product integrity, quality, and safety . Stay informed about the latest refrigeration technologies, tools, and maintenance best practices relevant to the food cold chain industry Desired profile of the candidate Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration, freezer, chiller, or cold storage maintenance, preferably within the food, poultry, or similar industries. Diploma or ITI certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or a related technical field. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and cold chain logistics. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and handle emergency repairs efficiently. Excellent understanding of safety protocols, hygiene standards, and equipment maintenance best practices. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Education qualification Minimum Class 10th or 12th pass, with hands-on technical training or certification in refrigeration systems Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Refrigeration Engineering

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent diagnostic abilities, and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and adept at working independently and as part of a team across various job sites in Nashik and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning: Install new HVAC/R systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ventilation units, and refrigeration units, following blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. Connect and fit refrigerant lines, ductwork, and electrical wiring according to safety standards and local codes. Perform initial testing and calibration to ensure proper system functionality and optimal performance. Maintenance & Servicing: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, including cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking refrigerant levels. Perform comprehensive system tune-ups to ensure energy efficiency and prevent breakdowns. Provide recommendations to clients for system upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency and longevity. Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in various HVAC/R systems. Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and circuit boards. Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently, often outside regular business hours. Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to understand their issues, explain diagnostic findings, and outline proposed solutions. Provide guidance on system operation, maintenance tips, and energy-saving practices. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs and records of all maintenance functions, repairs, installations, and parts used. Prepare detailed service reports, invoices, and necessary documentation. Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, industry regulations, and environmental guidelines, especially concerning refrigerant handling and electrical safety. Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) acts. Equipment Management: Manage and maintain company tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and calibrated. Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts

Hiring for HVAC Technician Experience: 4+ years Location: Hyderabad,Bengaluru,chennai and kerala ITI, Diploma in relevant specialization (AC/Mechanical). should be open to travel PAN India apart from their base locations. Experience in the service field is mandatory, not in maintenance. Trouble shooting, AC repair, Replacement of compressor, coils required. Sort of welding and installation they should know.
