About the role

We are expanding the scope of our HR operational presence to support to a growing international employee population. Were hiring an HR Operations Lead to build and manage a HR operations team, taking ownership of day-to-day delivery while working closely with HR stakeholders to refine and operationalise existing HR processes.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role will be ideal for someone with strong HR operational knowledge, experience working in a shared services model and have demonstrated the ability to lead a small team. You will integrate two existing HR operational team members into a formal structure, refine current processes and ensure high-quality execution across all territories.

Key Responsibilities:

With the support of our Head of Operations, the candidate will need to Build & Lead the HR Operations Team locally

  • Establish a new HR operations function.
  • Incorporate two existing HR team members into a cohesive team structure; assign responsibilities and provide guidance.
  • Develop a working rhythm, define task ownership, and drive accountability within the team.

HR Process Delivery Global Scope

  • Oversee accurate and timely execution of end-to-end HR administrative tasks for employees across multiple countries, including:
  • Offer letter and contract preparation
  • Onboarding coordination and employee data entry
  • Job changes, promotions, and employment updates
  • Exit administration and documentation
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records within the HRIS (Workday).
  • Payroll data reconciliation and inputting
  • Benefit lifecycle operational tasks

Process Refinement & SOP Development

  • Work with the head of HR Operations, and other HR stakeholders to review and refine HR processes.
  • Finalise and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), service level expectations, and documentation protocols.
  • Drive consistency, compliance, and quality across all HR operational workflows.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate regularly with HR Operations, other HR stakeholders and finance to support cross-functional processes.
  • Respond to queries, escalate issues, and ensure proactive communication with relevant internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure HR practices adhere to local requirements and align with global standards (e.g., GDPR, audit controls).
  • Manage secure storage and integrity of employee files and HR documentation.
  • Support internal audits and respond to documentation or compliance reviews.

Reporting & Process Oversight

Track key HR operational metrics (e.g., SLA adherence, onboarding completion, data accuracy).

  • Maintain dashboards and trackers as needed by global HR or Operations leadership.
  • Continuously review processes and recommend improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrate strong HR operations experience, including team leadership or supervisory exposure.
  • Experience working in a shared services model, ideally supporting international employee groups.
  • Familiarity with out HR systems Workday.
  • A strong understanding of international employment compliance is advantageous; global HR documentation experience is a desirable.
  • Comfortable managing processes across time zones and coordinating with international stakeholders.
