The position requires you to independently handle design projects and develop naval architecture & hull design. You will be responsible for leading a team to review external designs and providing assistance to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members to support their professional development. Your tasks and responsibilities will include liaising with Owner/ Class/ External Designer for specific design requirements and providing technical solutions. You will lead the team in general conceptual and basic design, as well as design and deliver tailored training programs, provide one-on-one coaching, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry practices. You will also perform naval architecture calculations such as speed performance prediction, stability/hydrostatic, scantling assessment, weight distribution, launching calculation, etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering project design drawings and documents. The job requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field, along with a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry focusing on Hull & Hull / Naval Architecture design. Good knowledge and skills in coaching and structural/naval architecture design are essential. Familiarity with GHS/NAPA/FEMAP/Autocad/MS Office, good communication, and analytical skills are also necessary. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges is expected.,
