Key Responsibilities: Design and architect end-to-end Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions for enterprise clients. Lead the implementation and migration of on-prem VDI environments (e.g., VMware Horizon View) to Azure. Integrate Azure Local and hybrid identity services with AVD environments (including ADDS, AADDS, and Entra ID). Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in AVD, FSLogix profiles, image management, scaling plans, and autoscaling. Develop infrastructure-as-code templates (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) for automated AVD deployments. Work closely with networking and security teams to implement solutions using Azure Private Endpoints, NSGs, and conditional access. Assess and migrate existing VMware Horizon environments to AVD or Azure-hosted platforms. Monitor performance and optimize cost and user experience across AVD and Horizon View environments.
