Job Summary: The Billing and MIS Coordinator will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining reports to support decision - making in the transportation department. This role involves data analysis, process optimization, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to streamline billing and MIS functions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and verify invoices for transportation services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. Maintain and update billing records, ensuring timely invoicing and payment reconciliation. Generate and analyze MIS reports related to transportation costs, operational efficiency, and revenue tracking. Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for invoice submission, payment follow-ups, and resolving discrepancies. Work closely with operations teams to validate trip data, freight charges, and supporting documents. Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) in transportation billing and costs. Ensure compliance with taxation, GST, and other regulatory requirements in billing processes. Support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance billing and reporting efficiency. Provide ad-hoc reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor s degree in commerce, Finance, Logistics, or a related field. +1 years of experience in billing, MIS, or financial reporting within the logistics/transportation sector. Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and ERP software. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of GST, taxation, and transportation billing practices is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in 3PL logistics operations. Familiarity with automation tools for MIS reporting.
