TS India operates out of 2 Manufacturing plants in Pune, Sales offices in Pune, Noida and Chennai and a Global engineering team in Bangalore. The total team strength is of 3,500 employees. There is a clear business strategy till 2025 to support the business growth. The growth is driven mainly driven from localization of Core India Specific products and also New technology products. The above position has been created to lead a team of Mechanical Designers, Electrical Automation Engineers in the Operations team to define the process and build the machines needed to make the new products in line with the strategy map and market demand. ROLE OBJECTIVE The Position has been created to lead a team of Electrical Automation Engineers and Technicians of the Manufacturing Engineering team to define the process and build the machines needed to make the new products in line with the strategy map and market demand of TS India. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible to lead a team of engineers for delivering Special Purpose machinery to the Plant NPD team for execution of all new projects as per agreed APQP timelines End to End responsible for capturing the voice of Customers and All Stakeholder requirements of the product and then Buy/Build the machine to meet the expectations Train and Coach the team to build the M.E Capability. Work closely with Procurement team to Develop Supplier base and increase localization of machine manufacturing in India Identify Automation and Cost Saving opportunities on Existing production lines and deliver realization EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE Technical Degree B.E Electronics Masters in Technical would be an added advantage CRITICAL EXPERIENCE 14+ years of experience working in medium or large matrix organizations. Hands on experience in high speed & high Precision SPM programming and trouble shooting Header connector manufacturing industry experience preferable Hands on Experience in designing and building Complex Pin Stitching machines, Complex Automation machines for Automotive industry. PLC and HMI Programming, Servo caming, interpolation programming and tuning, and trouble shooting experience Electrical and Control system circuits design experience Experience in EOL testing, like leakage, Electrical tests, AOI(Camera Vision inspection) Updated knowledge on current Programming Software and Design Software. COMPETENCIES Training and Development. Electronic/Electrical controls and Mechanical Design PLC programming, CAD Software ( Creo ,Pro E, AutoCAD) Vision system development and programming Controllers to PC interfaces design and implementation

Improve the process to reduce CoPQ and improve OEE, by quality, up-time and productivity Identify Automation and Cost Saving opportunities and able to deliver result EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE Technical Degree B.E Mechanical / Mechatronics Knowledge in PLC control would be an added advantage CRITICAL EXPERIENCE 14+ years of experience working in medium or large matrix organizations. Hands on Experience in in high speed & high Precision SPM designing , building and trouble shooting Experience in header assembly machines, fast and high precision Automation machines for Automotive industry is preferable Mechanical and Pneumatic systems trouble shooting and design skills Experience in EOL testing, like leakage, Electrical tests, AOI(Camera Vision inspection) Updated knowledge on statistical process control systems. COMPETENCIES CAD Software ( Creo ,Pro E, AutoCAD) procifiency Mechanical systems trouble shooting and Design Corrective actions implementation and validation
