Required JDs Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency. To ensure procurement of all herbal extracts and powders including raw materials, packing material and ingredients for herbal products. To monitor and forecast inventory, determining purchasing needs and identify costs. To develop new vendors and negotiate terms, prices, and conditions with them. Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards. Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations. Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to sourcing activities. Online Testing and Analysis Conduct online testing of incoming raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods. Ensure that all testing (sampling, analysis) is carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and approved methods. 2. Sampling and Methodology Ensure proper sampling procedures and adherence to validated methods of analysis. Verify that all required tests are performed according to approved protocols. 3. System and Quality Control Develop and implement systems to monitor and control the quality of inputs and outputs. Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and company-specific quality requirements. 4. Instrument Calibration and Validation Ensure timely calibration and validation of laboratory instruments as per scheduled timelines. 5. Training and Personnel Development Train the junior QC personnel in compliance with cGMP, analytical methods, limit testing, and other related tasks. Periodically evaluate analyst performance and provide constructive feedback. 6. Housekeeping and Equipment Maintenance Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the department and laboratory equipment in accordance with cleaning schedules. 7. Cost Management Manage and monitor QC-related expenses and costing. 8. Analytical Reporting Confidential Prepare and review analytical reports based on testing data. Record and manage test results in the SAP system. 9. Documentation and Labelling Ensure proper labelling of instruments, reagents, retention samples, working standards, and reference standards. Maintain all QC documentation as per QMS and regulatory requirements. 10. Method Development and Validation Develop new analytical methods and perform method verification and validation activities. 11. SOP and QMS Compliance Prepare and review QC-related SOPs and methods of analysis in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure adherence to GLP and internal audit standards. 12. Handling of Quality Events Manage and document quality events including: CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) Deviations and change controls Out of Specification (OOS) results Out of Trend (OOT) analysis Risk assessments Lab incidents 13. Cleaning Validation Execute and document cleaning validation activities as per regulatory guidelines. 14. Instrument Operation Operate laboratory instruments as per SOP and ensure their optimal performance.

Required Candidate profile Quality Control Professional with experience in Herbal Phytoextracts Products testing, Method Development, Handling of QMS Documentation like CAPA, data control, Change management system.

Research and identify new business opportunities in the phytoextracts/herbal extract industry globally Design and execute technical marketing strategies for B2B export markets Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and key client relationships Participate in international/domestic exhibitions and audits Plan and oversee dispatches in coordination with packing, logistics, QA, and accounts Customize products based on client requirements and ensure alignment with production Ensure timely delivery, documentation, and post-dispatch client follow-ups Handle ISO/QMS documentation and represent the company during audits Preferred Candidate Profile Core experience in B2B Export Business Development in herbal/phytoextract industry Excellent communication, documentation, and technical sales skills Prior exposure to ISO audits, international expos , and client lifecycle management Educational background in M.Sc. Roles and Responsibilities: Product Development : Lead and oversee the development of innovative nutraceutical and herbal formulations. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Troubleshoot product or process issues during development and production. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products and processes comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., FSSAI, AYUSH, etc.). Prepare and review technical documentation, such as dossiers, for domestic and international markets. Team Management: Supervise and mentor the R&D team, ensuring alignment with company goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and marketing. Client Interaction: Engage with B2B clients to understand requirements and provide technical support. Develop customized solutions for client needs and ensure timely delivery. Market Trends & Innovation : Stay updated on global nutraceutical and herbal trends, technologies, and research. Drive innovation by introducing new ingredients, formulations, or technologies. Education : Master's or Ph.D. in Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related fields. Experience : Min 5 year Salary : Rs. 60,000 per month to 80,000 per month (Depending upon the experience and interview) Working Hours: 8 Hours a day (6 days a week) Job Location : Dera Bassi, Punjab Day Off : Sunday Skills Required: Minimum 5 years in R&D within the nutraceuticals or herbal manufacturing industry.
