Position: Head Operations (Production) Location: Sachin, Surat Experience: 18 to 25 years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering Industry: Specialty Chemicals / Chemical Manufacturing Function: Plant Operations & Production Management Reporting To: Sr. Management Team Scope: Multi-site responsibility Role Summary: A leading specialty chemicals manufacturing group is looking for an experienced operations head to lead its production function across multiple plants. The role demands strong leadership in chemical plant operations, safety compliance, quality systems, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day plant operations across multiple sites with a focus on productivity, safety, and cost control. Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to ISO, GMP, and EHS standards. Monitor production efficiency, energy usage, material balancing, and timely deliveries. Oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Coordinate production planning with sales and top management. Lead team performance management, training, and capability building. Handle internal audits, documentation, and compliance reporting. Drive continuous improvement and sustainability practices. Candidate Profile: 1825 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably in batch/continuous process industries. Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-site operations. Strong exposure to quality systems, audits, process safety, and plant commissioning. Should have worked in leadership roles reporting to promoters or senior leadership.
