Head of Health and Safety

As the Head of Health & Safety at NHS Borders, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization fulfills its statutory obligations and provides strong leadership for the health and safety agenda. You will be appointed as the Competent Person for NHS Borders, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to promoting a safe working environment. NHS Borders has recently set ambitious strategic plans for the period 2025-2030, with a focus on putting people at the center of all operations and delivering consistent care to high standards. Your role will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive safety culture that prioritizes the well-being of patients, service users, contractors, and visitors.
