Job Description

Demonstrable experience in Quality Engineering management and operations within an agile, product focused IT department.
Demonstrable experience in test data management as well as the definition and creation of test automation assets, and has broad QA knowledge across functional, integration, and performance testing, using a targeted view on how data models are used to drive synthesised data for testing and automation needs.
Demonstrable experience of test data management:
Using basic SQL/NoSQL queries
Strong SQL for data extraction and transformation.
Basic mocking/stubbing
Use of test data management tooling such as GenRocket, Tonic.ai Informatica, Talend, SSISetc.
Advanced test data management such as:
Modelling
Ensuring referential integrity across datasets
Obfuscation of data
Seeding data
Synthetic data creation
Dataset cloning and reduction/truncation.
Scripting & Automation:
AWS, Azure, or GCP (especially services like RDS, Redshift, Data Factory, Glue).
Demonstrable experience of test automation tools:
Tricentis Tosca
Microsoft Playwright
Cypress
Selenium
Demonstrable experience of test automation frameworks:
BDD (Gherkin syntax)
Module / Page Object Model.
Hybrid.
Experience in version control strategies and how versioning datasets can make testing processes more efficient.
Experience of how test data and the use of test data tooling can integrate into test automation processes and be used within CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in advanced AI/ML approaches for improving test data use, analysis of test data flows, data inconsistency identification, understanding how AI can enhance QA test data management processes.

Qualification in or equivalent practical experience ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or Scrum Master (CSM) and some ITIL v4 Foundation familiarity
